A desire to produce an impactful and meaningful documentary led to the creation of "The Underdogs". An underdog usually refers to one who is not a favourite amongst people, and is not expected to win. However, the underdog overcomes challenges and ultimately prevails. Just like the tale of an underdog, we hope that through the story of two dogs, Nanyang and Techie, we can confront and overcome societal stigmas that people have of shelter dogs, and eventually find them a home.
The documentary was later used by the NTU Animal Lovers' Society to raise awareness on the need for adoption of shelter dogs.
