I spent a semester at Bryn Mawr College in the United States under the NTU-USP Study Abroad Programme, where I relished the opportunity to produce a documentary. Stemming from booming conversations surrounding immigration laws in America, my friend and I decided to tell the story of a Pakistani migrant who worked in a food cart in Philadelphia. Our film, "Dear America" was later nominated for the 7th Tri-Co Film Festival 2018 and screened at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute as one of the best films.
